ALBERT JOHNSON Brother Albert Johnson was the fifth child born to the union of the late Johnnie Johnson, Sr. and Gussie McGhee Johnson on May 6, 1933 in Hernando County where he resided most of his life. He attended Moton High School in Brooksville, FL. He loved people and met many acquaintances. During his early years he labored hard at Brooksville Rock Mine and Neal Grassing Company until his health failed him, yet he never complained about his illness or said he was in pain. He departed this life on Saturday, January 14,2006 at the Hernando –Pasco Hospice on Cortez Blvd in Brooksville, FL. He was the last surviving brother of four. He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Delores Cummings; two grandsons, Joseph and Kevin Cummings of Coleman, FL; four sisters, namely Edna Willis, Thelma McKeever, Pearlie Johnson and Freddie Lee Johnson all of Brooksville, FL; aunt, Mrs. Mary Johnson of Plametto, FL; four sisters-in-law, namely Edith Johnson of Virginia Beach, VA, Bernice Fletcher, Emma Johnson and Mary Johnson all of Brooksville, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
