Mother Almeta Gaynor blessed this world February 27, 1949. She was born to Willis Davis Elder and Lucinda L. Mason of Brooksville, Florida. She was a loving, kind, and diligent CNA for much of her life. But what made her special was her ability to not only care about the physical health of people, but also the salvation of everyone she came in contact with. She was truly faithful servant of God.

Her faithfulness was an inspiration to all. Her love for God has brought so many closer to Him. She was an awesome gift from God to her family and friends. Her beautiful and powerful spirit will be missed by all who have had the blessing of knowing her. She leaves behind to cherish her memory four sons: James Ray Elder of St. Petersburg, FL, Victor E. Gaynor (Chervara) of Tampa, FL, Joseph Micah Gaynor (Monica) of Spring Hill, FL, Joshua Nicholas Gaynor of Tampa, FL; one daughter and best friend, Chiquita L. Gaynor and children Hawaii and D’Angelo of Tampa, FL.

She also leaves to cherish her memory, her mother and father: Lucinda L. Mason and Willis Davis Elder of Brooksville, FL; brother Marvin Davis Elder; sisters, Pearline Clark, Gracie Reese and Rebecca Elder all of Brooksville, FL; aunt, Almeta Mason of Brooksville, FL; many more siblings, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and sorrowful relatives and friends who will miss Almeta very much.
