Alton Lee Johnson, was born in Eufaula, AL on October 21, 1938 to the late Alto Johnson and Eva Mae Jenkins. He was a well known mason in the Brooksville area for over 15 years until he retired in 2001.
On Saturday August 19, 2006, God called Alton home. He leaves to mourn his mother Eva Mae Jenkins; two brothers, Johnny and Michael Johnson; two sisters, Cleo and Christine all of Chicago, IL; his wife of 31 years, Blanche Johnson; three sons, Terry Johnson, Albert Johnson and wife (Melissa) of Gainesville, FL and Alton J. Johnson of Brooksville, FL; four daughters K. Denise Sheppard and husband (Eddie) of Gainesville, FL, Rosemary Lovett and husband (Ruben) of Bronson, FL, Latrice Hall of Spring Hill and Stacey Ford and husband (Howard) of Virginia Beach, VA; sixteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
