Obituary for Arthur Lee Smith, Jr.
Reflections of the Life
Of
Arthur Lee Smith, Jr.
B.K.A. “Smity/Bug”
Arthur Smith was born in Inverness, FL to Wilma Jean Mosley and Oscar Jones. Arthur was reared in the home of his grandmother, the late Mother Gladys King Mosley. He attended the local public schools of Crystal River, FL and later relocated to Colorado Springs, CO.
Arthur truly loved his family, however his sister Zena and he had a closeness that was more than brother and sister relationship it was more “Mother and Son”. They shared a special connection where they knew each other’s thoughts. He seems to always know when she needed him the most he would just show up with that big smile and a even bigger hug. He didn’t have to say a word his smile and hug said “I LOVE YOU and It’s GOING TO BE OK”.
Arthur was preceded in death by his mother Wilma Jean (Mosley) Donar, father Oscar Jones, and younger sister Samantha Donar, and grandmother Gladys Mosley , one aunt Smyrna Mosley and one uncle, Earl Mosley.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories five sisters, Elzena Harris of Colorado Springs, CO, Toniette Wilson (Cedrick) of Beverly Hills, FL, Tonjette Jones of Tampa, FL, Debbie Jenkins of Wildwood, FL, Dianita Jones of Leesburg, FL; eight brothers, Henry Jones of Ocala, fL, Donald Donar, Stan Jones (Kim) all of Crystal River, FL, Oscar Jones, Jr. (Lenora) and Tony Jones (Kim) all of Wildwood, FL, Charlie Jones (Angela) and Oscar David Jones all of Tampa, FL, and Reggie Jones (Koran) of Spring Hill, FL; three aunts, Drucella Mosley DeVaughn (George), Barbara Mosley Gunter all of Crystal River, FL and Patricia Mosley Carter (Mark) of Inverness, FL; one uncle, Leon Mosley Orange (Gwen) of Crystal River, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
