Obituary for Betty Harrell Simmons
2 Timothy 4:7-8
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.".
Betty Harrell Simmons left us to join her late husband, William Henry Simmons, in eternal life on Thursday, April 22nd, 2021. Betty was known by most as 'Aunt Bea' or 'Nana'. When life was kicking your butt, you could count on her in your corner, with the right words to lift you back up. Her spirit is carried on by her son 'Moody' Zyndall Simmons, his wife Paula, her grandsons David and Michael Simmons and her great grandchildren, Issac, Annabelle, Elizabeth, Emily, and William Simmons, as well as her brother’s Willis Harrell, Frank Harrell, and sister Lois Harrell and all extended family of relations and friends from every walk of life. We were blessed to have the time we shared with her and will always carry her words of encouragement and love in our hearts.
