Obituary Of Beulah Lee Willis

“To everything there is a season and a time, to every purpose under the heaven.”   Ecclesiastes 3:1

A TIME TO BE BORN

Beulah Lee Willis was born on June 1st 1926 to John and Annie Johnson of Brooksville, Florida.

A TIME TO LIVE

Beulah was born and raised in Hernando County.  She was married to John Wesly Willis Sr. They were blessed to have eight children.

Beulah was afforded the opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and accepted Him as her Personal Savior at a very young age; thereby receiving the assurance that she would be able to live with Him eternally.  She became a member of Mt. Zion AME church where she actively served as a Sunday School teacher and Senior Choir member.  She also served faithfully on the Steward Board and Missionary Board.  She remained active until her departure.  In her spare time when she wasn’t caring for others, she enjoyed sewing, quilting and canning.

A TIME TO LAUGH
Both family and friends cherished Beulah Willis because she was such a wonderful, gracious person who exemplified a Christ like life style.  She was given to both love and hospitality and was always quick to lend an ear to those in need of a listener .  Her kind, warm and friendly nature would always bring joy to those who were given the opportunity to know her.

A TIME TO WEEP
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband John W. Willis Sr. and her son Samuel Willis. She leaves to cherish her memories, four sons and three daughters;  Bernard Willis (Daisy),  Calvin Willis, Frederick Willis, John Willis Jr., Erma Roache (Rick), Karen Roberts (Norman),  Arlene Franklin (James); one brother John Wallace; one sister-in-law, Edna Willis; thirty-four grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
