Deacon Charles Brown came to Brooksville in 1957. He was a faithful member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. After working many years, Charles retired from Chemical Lime at Florida Crush Stone.

He leaves to cherish his memories, loving wife Luevina Bivins-Brown of nearly 20 years; children, Gwendolyn Sheppard (Bill) of Lake City, FL; Brynnica Brown of Brooksville, FL; Rhonda Ivey (Eugene) of Like Oak, FL, Eugenice Brown of Jamaica, Delroy Brown (Janet) of Jamaica, Lincoln Brown of Jamaica, Dennis George, Jr. of Live Oak, FL and Jarvis George of Brooksville, FL; brother, Oscar Brown & wife of New York; father-in-law, Izell Bivins of Ft. Meyers, FL; sisters-in-law, Linda Scrivens-Clark, Mary Scrivens-Boles (Frank), Gloria White-Browdy (Ronnie) all of Brooksville, FL and Joyce White-St. Fleur of Bell Glades, FL; brothers-in-law, Andrew Scrivens of Live Oak, FL, Ivory Bivins, Sr. (Donna) of Brooksville, FL, Izell Bivins, Jr. , L.C.
