Obituary for CHARLIE LUCAS
Charlie Lucas (Lovingly Called “Uncle Charlie”) Charlie was born March 28, 1910 in Pratville, AL to the late Dick Goodson and Florence Lucas. Charlie moved to Florida and married Mable Motley, they remained together until her death. Charlie decided to remain in Florida with his new extended family and was loved by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory: A son James Lucas of AL; two daughters, Mary Golson of Montgomery, AL and Martha Burt of Prattville, AL; nineteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren; a very loving and devoted sister-in-law, Rosa Waddy, who was his caretaker until his death. A special nephew, Richard Howell and wife Susan, who also helped Rosa take care of Charlie; many loving nieces, nephews.
