OBITUARY
A TIME TO BE BORN:
Mr. Calvin T. Brooks was born on September 11, 1961, in Brooksville Florida to the late Willie James and Thelma Brooks.
A TIME TO LOVE:
Calvin was unmarried but shared his life with a close friend; Kimberly Chessney of Spring Hill, Florida.
A TIME OF GROWTH:
Throughout life’s journey, Calvin traveled to many places throughout the world. He diligently worked his way through various occupations until his health required him to labor no more.
A TIME TO SERVE:
Calvin proudly serve a three year tour in the United States Army, which he loved dearly. Upon leaving the Army, he used the training and skills learned to pursue various occupations within the community.
A TIME TO REMEMBER:
A life of loyalty and love to family and friends ended Thursday, September 27, 2018. Calvin was a determined, loving brother and friend to those he met. Proceeding him in death were both mother and father. He leaves to cherish his memories, three brothers and wives: Willie and Dorothy Brooks of Fayetteville N.C, Dale and Aletha Brooks of Orlando, Florida, Kenneth N. Brooks Sr. of Houston, Texas, two sisters and husbands: Angelette and Sam Taylor of Miami, Florida, Dionne and Anthony Barnett of Clearwater, Florida: two aunts; Aughtrie Banks of Orlando, Florida and Sarah Hikes of Hernando, Florida and one uncle Reverend David Houston Sr. and Jackie Houston of Inverness, Florida; nephews Corey Taylor, Willie Brooks III, Michael Brooks, Dale Brooks II, Chandler Brooks, Kenneth Brooks Jr. and Benjamin Brooks: Nieces; Ardra Brooks, Veronica Brooks, Kendra Brooks, Lisette Taylor, Brianna Taylor, Elizabeth Brooks and Sheree Ewings, and a host of cousins and friends
