Daral Owens
Brother Daral B. Owens, 51 of Newbern, Alabama passed away peacefully on May 15, 2014 in Brooksville, FL at his sister's home after a courageous battle with cancer. Daral was born February 18, 1963 in Brooksville, FL to the late Mary Ella Johnson and Curley Owens, Sr. He was their yougest child and affectionately known by his mom as "Boo". Daral graduated from Hernando High School in 1982. He was a standout athlete and nown for his exceptional quarterback skills. He had the privilege of playing with one of the most unforgettable teams in the school's football history. Daral also briefly attended Bethune Cookman University formerly known as Bethune Cookman College.
Daral also worked several years at Southwest Florida Water Management. Daral's travel took him to several places, and each travel took him near family. Daral loved his family and was not afraid to express his love to them. With God's guidance and many angels, Daral's final request was granted.
