Desmond Sanders formative years were spent in Hernando County. He graduated from Hernando High School in 1991. He was quite active in football, baseball, wrestling and track. He was a self-employed truck driver who traveled throughout the southeastern states. Desmond loved life and enjoyed it to the highest. He also had a big heart and contagious smile. He stayed in touch with family and friends through “FACEBOOK”.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving & devoted mother, Mamie L. Sanders of Brooksville, FL; one son Tyrell L. Sanders of Tampa, FL; 5 brothers, Barry Sanders of Spring Hill, FL, Gerald (Patricia) Sanders of Dade City, FL, Curtis Wesley Sanders of Brooksville, FL, Damon (Antionette) Sanders of Atlanta, GA and Robert (Valerie) Packer of Pensacola, FL; one loving sister Kimberly Sanders of Spring Hill, FL; 8 aunts, Betty Morgan, Brenda Mobley, Juanita Washington all of Brooksville, FL, Joann Harris of Tampa, FL, Ludella (Ed) Rogers of Tuskegee, AL, Dollie (Bennie) Turpin of Phoenix City, AL, Percy (Louis) McNair and Helen (Edwin) Kimbrough both from Columbus, GA; 4 uncles, Harry (Evelyn) Washington, Millard (Annie Lois) Sanders both of Brooksville, FL, Ernest (Rose) Sanders of Lakeland, FL and Lee (Linda) Sanders of Orlando, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, a multitude of Facebook family, friends and Miss Rhonda D.
