Edith Mobley Joiles
Edith Mobley Joiles was born September 7, 1951 to Adriene Mobley and Rosa Mae Whorley (both preceding her in death). She finished her earthly assignment on July 16, 2011 and received her final grade of “well done”.
Edith was educated through the Hernando County School System. She will always be remembered for the delicious meals she prepared, her straight-forwardness, and her colorful sense of humor. Edith truly enjoyed helping others. She was affiliated with First Baptist Church of Shady Rest.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband Landie Joiles of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; three daughters, Sharon Mobley of Clermont, FL, Alisha Brown of Brooksville, FL and Demetricia Trabert of Spring Hill, FL; one son Jeffrey Joiles of Huntsville, TX; three brothers, Grant Gibbs, Reuben Mobley and Lewis Mobley, Sr. all of Brooksville, FL; three sisters, Gwendolyn Mobley of Miami, FL, Edna Fribley and Annie Ruth Washington (James) both of Brooksville, FL; nine grandchildren, Jasmine, Denisha, Chad, Bradley, Steven, Leandrea, Jayde, Sinjin and Brianna; one great-grandson, Cedrion Strothers; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, including her very special niece and confidant, Yolanda Byrd; special nephews, Jerome Fribley and Lewis Mobley, Jr.; and very dear friends, Ken Ratts, Retha Owens and Joanna.
