Elizabeth GriceÂ
Elizabeth Grice was born on February 17, 1935 in Inverness, FL to the late Johnnie and Oretha King.
She graduated from Booker T. Washington as Valedictorian of her class. She worked in the Citrus County School System for 42 years as a bookkeeper. Elizabeth was united in holy matrimony to the Late James E. Grice for 55 years. She was converted at an early age as a member of Greater Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Inverness, FL. In 1989 she became a faithful member of the Inverness Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband James, son Jim, Jr., sister Mary, and brother Johnnie, Jr.
Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memories three daughters Marilyn Key, Nadine Redding (Michael, Sr.), and Yolanda Grice, all of Inverness. One God-daughter Dorothy Clark of Inverness; one brother Herman King (Bettye) of Tampa, FL; two special nieces Carolyn Grice of East Orange, NJ, and Althea Franklin (Arthur, Sr.) of Inverness, FL; two nephews, Herman King, Jr. of California and Jeffery King (Liz) of Port Richey, FL; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-children and one great-great grandchild; special friends Pauline Sawyer and Marion Henry.
