At an early age the family relocated to Brooksville, FL, where Ella Weese attended school in Hernando County. She moved to Miami where she worked for the Miami Dade School System for over 25 years. She was a devoted staff member at Hialeah Elementary School.  After retiring in 1998, she later moved back to Brooksville, where she was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Shady Rest. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alphonso George, Jr. and Mallie Perry, Jr. and one sister, Jo Lula Thomas.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her children,  son, Roderick Henley and daughter, Taneil Dupont (Vanzell); two sisters, Gertrude Mobley and Farris Williams (Richard); four uncles, Paul, Johnnie, Silas and Sammie Alexander all of Williston, FL;  one great aunt, Pearl McCormick of Ft. McCoy, FL;  sisters-in-law, Josephine Lewis of Vauxhall, NJ, Annie Jackson of Albany, GA, Mary Holloman of Preston, GA and Naomi George of Inverness, FL; five grandchildren, Demetrius of Atlanta, GA, Shauntelle, Vanessa, Iesha and Vantisha all of Brooksville, FL; five great-grandchildren, Ja’Varri, Vantrell, Jayden, Jahzara and D’Edward, Jr. all of Brooksville, FL; a devoted niece, LaTonye Brooks of Miami, FL; a devoted nephew, Louis Mobley, Jr. of Brooksville, FL; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Viewing:  Friday, March 02, 2012 ~ 5:00 P.M.  to 7:00 P.M. ~ Cason Funeral Chapel ~ 830 School Street ~ Brooksville, FL Services:  Saturday, March 03, 2012 ~ 11:00 A.M. ~ First Baptist Church of Shady Rest ~ 11409 Shady Rest Court ~ Brooksville, FL ~ Rev.
