Euna Mable McKinnon was born November 16, 1933 and was the sixth of eleven siblings born to Fred Douglas McKinnon, Sr. (Deceased) and Ada Mable Elliott McKinnon (Deceased). She received her Public School Education in the Citrus County School System. Upon completion of High School in 1951, she attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical College in Tallahassee for a while and transferred to Florida Normal College in St. Augustine where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She later received her Master of Education degree from what had then become Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.

She accepted Christ at a very early age and was added to Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church where she remained as an active member until her demise. During her tenure, she was an active member of the Sunday School, Weekly Prayer Meeting and Bible Study, Deaconess Ministry, President of the Mission Society Ministry, Women’s Beautification Committee, Kitchen Committee, and Benevolent Committee. Additionally lives were positively impacted by her service throughout the community. Her Christian duties extended far beyond Mt. Olive and into the Second Bethlehem Baptist Association in Ocala, Florida where she was currently service as Second Vice President of the Women’s Department.

Her professional career began in Marianna, Florida where she worked as an Adult Education Teacher for the 1963-1964 school term. She returned to Crystal River, FL in August of 1964 and was employed by the Citrus County School Board where she served as an Elementary School Teacher and Primary School Specialist. After 31 years of service, she retired from the Citrus County School System on June 20, 1995. Countless students and adults lives have been positively impacted by her dedication and hard work in the field of education.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband, William L. Robinson, Jr. of Crystal River, FL; one daughter, Preshus Lafara Robinson, Crystal River, FL; on grand daughter, Trivonna Shikira Wilson, Crystal River, FL; three brothers, Orbary McKinnon (Betty) Crystal River, FL; Fred D. McKinnon, Jr. (Essie), Crystal River, FL; and Daniel Moore (Gloria), Neptune, NJ; five sisters, Mae Ola Floyd, Crystal River, FL; Alease Smith, Crystal River, FL; Vernell Callahan (Earl), Jacksonville, FL; Geneva Moore, Neptune, NJ; and Ophelia Baker, Miami, FL; three aunts, Rena Washington, Crystal River, FL; Lottie Elliott, Ocala, FL; Idelia Elliott, Gulf Hammock, FL; and a caring sister-in-law, Mary McKinnon, Crystal River, FL; She also leaves to mourn a host of other sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, one godson, goddaughters, and sorrowing friends.Viewing: Friday, July 6, 2007 ~ 6-8p.m. ~ Mt.
