Everge J. Smith, Jr. was born in Inverness, Florida on June 12, 1966 to Mrs. Alwillie Chester Smith and the late Mr. Everge Smith, Sr. He departed this life early Sunday morning, June 29, 2008.

He became a member of Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Inverness, Florida, under the pastorate of Reverend George Parker.
Â
Everge attended the public schools of Citrus County, he was a graduate of Citrus High School, class of 1984.
Â
He was a former employee of First Federal Bank and worked at Harris Tires until he became disabled.
Â
Everge leaves to cherish his memories, a loving mother, Mrs. Alwillie Smith; two sisters, Kim Marie Smith Whitus of Inverness, FL and Sharon Lynette Bostic of Hernando, FL; three brothers, Anthony McCrimmon of Orlando, FL, Charles Allen Johnson and Larry Smith of Inverness, FL; five aunts, Mary E. Mason of Yalaha, FL, Willie Mae Chester of Inverness, FL, Rose Mary Chester of Fort Worth, TX, Eddie Lee Riley of Erie, PA and Ruth Twiggs (Alfred) of Hernando, FL; four uncles, Elijah Chester (Mary) of Orlando, FL, Russell Smith (Lucille) of Hernando, FL, Robert Smith of Ocala, FL and Earl Smith of Silver Springs, MD; two dedicated nephews, Levonté A. White and Larry A. Smith, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.
