He was a deacon and a member of Grace Temple Church of the Living God of Floral City, FL and a U.S. Army Veteran. He served faithfully in the Church of the Living God as an usher in the national association, state association and local churches.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, John Wilson and Laura Lennon Wilson ; two brothers, Lorenzo Wilson and Author Brooks and one aunt Beatrice Lennon.
He is survived by, one son, Michael Fisher; one sister, Elodie Wilson; a Godson, Robert McKinnon, Jr.; one Goddaughter, Belinda Cohen; a nephew, Sam and a niece, Pee Wee; special nephews, Author Brooks, Nathaniel Brooks and Lonnie McKinnon; special nieces, X’Ciana McKinnon, Angie Brooks, and Norserlene; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
