James “Pop” Washington as he was affectionately called by all who knew him was a loving, kind and soft spoke Christian person and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife Corine Washington; three daughters, Shannette (Marcus Torro) Washington, Kimberly (Charles Williams) Washington, and Telecia (Jacques Williams) Washington (granddaughter), two grandchildren, Charleasea and Jaylesia Williams; one great-grandson, Jacques Williams, Jr., one brother, Willie (Elizabeth) Washington; three sisters, Louise Hodges, Emma (Charles) Thomas, and Karen (Paige Cannon) Washington; one uncle, Mack (Sarah) Davis; three godsons, Jose Flores, Freddie Flories, Jr. and Jorge Mendoza; two special sisters-in-law, Anne O’Banner and Maxine O’Banner; special nieces and nephews, Eshonda Redding, Sherri Jackson, Rodney and Grian Duncan, Michael O’Banner, Robert O’Banner, Jr. and a host of other nieces, nephews, sisters/brothers-in-law, cousins and sorrowing friends; special friends, Lucy Duncan and Mack (Hattie) Washington, Floyd Moore, Bobby Holland, and Maulti Moore.
