James Thomas Burch was born November 5, 1973 at Broward General Medical center, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He attended public schools in Broward, Hillsbourgh and Hernando Counties. James gave his life to Christ at an early age. Upon moving to Brooksville he became a member of the St. James Missionary Baptist Church on Wiscon Road. Of his many hobbies he loved music, reading, writing and working on his computer, he was a wiz with numbers and a huge fan of Prince. James quit school at the age of 17 but continued his education earning his GED, he also earned a certificate for perfect attendance in a Life Skills Course: Vital Issue Project and Business Software Application also earning his certification. Student of the month in said classes… His greatest love was his family. He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Anthony and Verna Crapps; 1 brother, Byron Keith Burch; 3 nieces, Alisha, Savannah and Serrita Burch; 1 nephew, Christopher; grandnieces and nephews, Delilah, Rachel, Molly, Jason, Marshall and Zachary of (Alabama); aunts and uncles, Alicia Carter (Texas) Rosebud and husband Ernest Hooker (New York), Lonnie Finlayson (Tampa), Mary A. Houston (Lamont), Joseph and wife Bernice Finlayson (Tampa), Winifred and husband Verdell Thomas (Jacksonville), Shelia and husband Melvin Chatman (Texas), Williamenia and husband Tommy Little (Pompano); 2 grandmothers, Azzie Lee Finlayson (Lamont) and Leila Mae Ford (Fort Lauderdale); a favorite grand aunt, Fannie Conyers (Brooksville); a favorite uncle, Thomas George Brooks, Sr. (Deltona) and a host of others sorrowing family and friends.
