JC Charlton, Sr. was born to the late Ben and Ophelia Charlton on April 6, 1930 in Allendale, South Carolina. In 1964 JC moved to Brooksville, Florida where he worked at Brooksville Rock. JC married the Linda O’Neal in 1978. JC was a loving and devoted husband and dad for 31 years. JC was a member of Church Without Walls until God called him home. JC retired from Brooksville Rock after 24 years. No matter where he went, he always made friends. Son, Marshall Hagood and sister, Rosa Bell Maner both preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Linda Charlton; three sons, JC Charlton, Jr. (Lisette) of Inverness, FL, Danny of Estill, S.C. and Nathenial of Atlanta, GA; three daughters, Phyllis Fraizer, Barbara Flowers both of Allendale, S.C. and Thelma Deloach of Orlando, FL; three sisters, Corine Charlton of Savannah, GA, Sara Lee Patterson of Estill, SC and Alberta Charlton of Jamaica, NY; one brother, Tucker Charlton, Sr. of Allendale, SC; two grandchildren, Tiana Charlton and Giabriella Charlton; three brothers-in-law, Larry Summerlin, Arthur Summerlin and Micheal Summerlin; two sisters-in-law, Vera Harvey and Joyce Mitchell.
