Obituary for JOHN WESLEY WILLIS, SR.
One of ten children, John Wesley Willis, Sr., was born on June 5, 1915 in Sparta, Georgia to the union of the late Mr. & Mrs. George and Sally Willis. John entered into the loving arms of our Lord Most High on the morning of November 27, 2006. He was 91 years old.

John was a loving husband to his wife Beulah L. Johnson-Willis, a caring and providing father to five sons and three daughters, a grandfather to three generations, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, and a friend.

He served the Mt. Zion Church and his community, lending his helping hands wherever needed and whenever asked.

He leaves to cherish his life and memories a loving and devoted family; his wife Beulah Lee Johnson-Willis, five sons – Bernard Willis (Daisy), Calvin Willis, Fredrick Willis, John W. Willis, Jr., Samuel Willis (Yvette); three daughters - Erma Roach (Rick), Karen Roberts (Norman) and Arlene Franklin (James).

He is survived by two living sisters – Inez Inmon and Ruby Fletcher; and one brother, Bishop Clifford Willis; three sisters-in law, Edna Willis, Hilda M. Willis and Erma J. Willis.

Also holding his memory close to their hearts are an especially dear grandson, Jason L. Willis (Adrienne), a host of endearing grandsons and granddaughters, great grandchildren, great-great children, and great-great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
