Parents:  Elya Thomas and Rosa Carson (both deceased)
Demise: March 7, 2012
History: 
Johnny went to Keith High School and later moved to Florida in 1985. He married Quella Anderson on December 13, 1990. They lived together until God called her home. Johnny Thomas worked at Florida Crushed Stone until he retired.
Survivors:
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving sister-in-law, Bessie Harris of Brooksville, FL ; daughter, Cherrie Harris; brother, Willie James Barnes of Safford, AL; sister, Author Mae Holmes; grandchildren, Brandon, William, Monique and Jeff;  special friend and cousin, Robert Williams of Brooksville, FL; sisters-in-law, Sandra Holmes and Suzette Lee (Ronnie); brothers-in-law, Frederick Holmes and Alfred Holmes (Madalyn); step-mother-in-law, Essie Mae Holmes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; one special niece, Mary Smith of Brooksville, FL; two special friends, Edith Brown and Alma Jones both of Brooksville, FL.
