Bro. Johnnie Hudson was born October 10, 1047, in Ashburn, GA, to the late Reverend Richard and Alice Hudson, Sr.
Prior to his graduation from Moton High School, Class of 1966, Bro. Hudson along with 5 of his classmates enlisted in the U.S. Air Force serving 6 years as a Staff Sergeant, Administrative Specialist.
Bro. Hudson took over as President of Kennedy Park Little League, following Coach Lorenzo Hamilton. Bro. Hudson and his staff had a successful program winning numerous District and Regional Tournaments.
Bro. Hudson held numerous jobs during his lifetime: Hernando County Schools, Florida Rock, Several Convenience Stores; and Retired from the Division of Forestry in 2015 after 32 Years of Service as a Duty Officer.
Bro. Hudson was an active member of St. James M.B. Church under the leadership of Reverend David C. Stewart, Jr. and Reverend Ygenio E. Booker.
Bro. Hudson was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons (J.D. & Johnnie Hudson), 2 daughters (Zandra & Unnamed), 2 Brothers (Freddie & Richard) and 2 sisters (Christine & Mary).
He leaves to cherish his memories: His Wife of 53 years: Missionary Lois Ann Hudson, 1 son: Johnnie L. Hudson, Jr. (Courtney), 3 Granddaughters: Ja’Milah, Jonique Hudson and Jacoya McKenzie, 2 Grandsons: Joshua McKenzie and Jordan Hudson, 2 Brothers: Willie Hudson (Sabrina), Ricardo Hudson (Althea), 3 Sisters: Ruby Revell, Annie Elliott and Alice Pollard (Marshall), 1 Brother-in-law: Reverend David C. Stewart, Jr. (Karla), 5 Sister-in-laws: Brenda Stewart, Carla Stewart, Iris Green, Juanita Straughter and Annie Pearl Hudson; and a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
