Elder Juanita Jenkins Johnson was born to the late Ella Bowens and Will Jenkins on November 9, 1927, in Clearwater, Florida.  God in his infinite wisdom  saw fit to remove her from our midst on Monday, July 22, 2013, surrounded by family and friends.
 
Throughout her 85 years of life, Elder Juanita J. Johnson was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, faithfully serving as Pastor of The Church of the Living God, Pillar Ground and Truth for 40 plus years.
Elder Juanita J. Johnson was married to the late Leo Johnson, Sr.  for 59 years and that union facilitated five children: Mary Ann Waddy, Gwendolyn “Louise” Cason (deceased), Gloria Jean Washington, Leo Johnson, Jr. (deceased), and Norma Jean Johnson.
 
She leaves to mourn three loving daughters; Mary Ann Waddy of Brooksville, Florida, Gloria Jean Washington of Brooksville, Florida, and Norma Jean Johnson of Brooksville, Florida, sister: Ella Mae McCauley of Brooksville, Florida, grandchildren: Beverly A. Gilbert of Dallas, Texas, Jerome Scrivens, Jr. of Brooksville, Florida, Carl Waddy of Atlanta, Georgia, Melissa J. Burnett of Brooksville, Florida, Laura J. Collins (Donavon) of Cedar Hill, Texas, James Hudson, Jr. of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Sharron R. Washington of Clermont, Florida, Reginald D. Foxworth of Allen, Pennsylvania, Leo Johnson, III, of Brooksville, Florida and Terrence Thomas of Brooksville ,Florida, Shekeema J. Johnson of Sharon, Pennsylvania, Brittany Washington of Atlanta, Georgia, Javia Washington of Tallahassee, Florida and Tia Washington of Atlanta, Georgia; brother-in-law: Bishop Otis Johnson (Juanita) of Bradenton, Florida, along with a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, sisters and brothers in Christ.
