Julius “Teddy” DeLaine, Sr.
Julius DeLaine, Sr. affectionally known as “Teddy” by family and friends, was born on August 12, 1936 in Brooksville, FL to the late Steve DeLaine and Mamie Roach DeLaine. On January 10, 2017, at the age of 80, in Clearwater, FL, he went home to be with the Lord.
He is survived by his son, Julius Teddy DeLaine, Jr. of Orlando, FL; (6) siblings: Florence DeLaine Miller of Newark, New Jersey; Howard DeLaine (Almazine), Hubert “Jack” DeLaine, Gussie DeLaine Washington, Theresa DeLaine Scriven (Henry), all of Brooksville, FL and Susan DeLaine Allen of Lakeland, FL; (3) Grandchildren, LaCandice Ferrell of Eatonville, FL, Derrick Ferrell of Kissimmee, FL and Myesha Thornton (Shondale) of Haines City, FL; (5) Great Grandchildren, DeShawn Ford, Corlaizia Bess, Delshon Thornton, Sandy Thornton and DeKari Ferrell; (1) Great Great Grandchild, Erica Ford; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He will dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
