Brother Kevin L. Stewart, Sr. was born September 23, 1956 in Brooksville, Florida to the late Rev. David C. and Blanche Stewart, Sr.
In his life he attended and graduated from Hernando High School; he attended and graduated from Howard University in Washington, DC. ; he traveled throughout the United States and other countries. Through life Brother Stewart, worked for AT&T, Department of Corrections, Hernando County School System and Department of Parole and Probation.
Brother Kevin L. Stewart departed this world on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Oak Hill Hospital.
Brother Kevin L. Stewart, Sr. was a loving husband and father and an extra ordinary grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. David C. and Blanche Stewart, Sr. , his oldest brother Alvin D. Stewart, Sr. and a sister Carmalita Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a wife Belinda Stewart; one son, Kevin L. Stewart, Jr. (Brittany); four daughters Kyana Stewart, Dyketta Cox, Kierra Graves and Shanettra McCollum; four step-children, Troy Johnson (Nadine), Tanisha Johnson (Rob), Eugene Johnson and Patricia Johnson: two brothers, Rev. David C. Stewart, Jr. (Karla) and Merle Franklin Stewart, Sr. (Nadine); six sisters, Brenda Stewart, Lois Hudson (Johnnie), Juanita Strother (Delroy), Carla Stewart, Gloria Harris and Iris Greene; God-sister, Yolanda Sanders; mother-in-law, Patricia Flowers; four brothers-in-law; ten grandchildren; two aunts, Vera Chester and Mary Lee Wilson; a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
