Leon “Hawk” Smith
Leon Smith was born to the late Will and Daisy Smith on September 25, 1943 in Fort Myers, Florida. He then moved to Brooksville, Florida with his family. He spent his childhood years in Brooksville and attended Moton High School. After graduation, he then went into the military. On Saturday, April 28, 2007 he heard the singing of angels saying, “Come on Home” and he closed his eyes and went on to Heaven with a smile.
