OBITUARY

Leslie Angion
On August 12, 1924, Leslie Angion was born to Willie Angion and Elizabeth Davis in Coy, AL. He was the oldest son of several siblings. As a young man he journeyed to Mobile, AL where he worked for many years at several different occupations, which included shipyards, logging and heavy equipment operation until his health declined. In 2006 Leslie relocated to Brooksville, FL where he resided until his death.
He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter Mary Evans and a son Archie Angion (deceased) of Mobile, AL; brother Preston Angion and sister Lillie Johnson of Birmingham, AL; three devoted grandchildren, Linda Walk (Jerome “Tip”), Sharon Montgomery (James) all of Brooksville, FL and Luis Gomez (Denise “Nurse”) of Century, FL; twelve loving great-grandchildren, Therese Montgomery, LaTalia “Tally” Gomez (Aaron), Nikki Jones, Roger Walker, all of Brooksville, FL, Antwan Gomez of Atlanta, GA, Sabrina Gomez, Justin Gomez of Montgomery, AL, Antonio Gomez of Jefferson City, TN, Christa Harris of Covington, GA, Keisha Harris of Pensacola, FL, Quionsha and LaNeicia Gomez both of Century, FL; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives; god-daughters, Geraldine Willis, Gernita Hickman and Denise Camp all of Brooksville, FL; a special friend, Samantha Jones of Pritchett, AL; new friends he acquired, Barbara Barneswell, Mozzella Miller, Patricia Pendleton all of Brooksville, FL and Margarette (Jennie) Wilson of Tampa, FL.
