Loretta Green Snell

Minister Loretta Green Snell was born to Eddie and Bertha Green on July 4, 1937 in Fort Gaines, GA. She was raised in a little town named Moore Haven, Florida.

Minister Snell was saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. She was a devoted member of Healing Temple and later joined The Holy Band D.T., Inc., there she was very dedicated and  long term member until her death. She was a pillar to her community.

In the year of 1986 Minister Snell was chosen to go to Auburn, N.Y. to take care of her sister. It was in New York that she was stricken with a stroke and later under went back surgery. While in New York she was under the faithful watch care of Pastor Whitaker and the Holy Ghost Deliverance Center.

After returning to Brooksville, she resided at the Heartland of Brooksville Nursing Manor. There she made many friends and they all loved her. During her stay, she prayed for many, convinced some and even help others to see it God’s way. She also made sure that everyone knew that she was a child of God and if you didn’t want to hear the truth, don’t ask any questions; for you surely would receive the butt naked truth. She was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on November 13, 2008.

Minister Snell leaves to mourn her death but cherish her memories, three daughters, Minister Bertha Winslett, Sharon Miller and Pamela Howard all of Brooksville, FL; two sons, James A. Grays of Wendell, N.C. and William (Billy) Singletarry of Hamilton, N.Y.; a devoted and dedicated goddaughter, Elvira Hudson Fribley of Brooksville, FL; a very faithful and caring cousin Frank Green of Pahokee, FL; eight grandchildren, Leonard Sampson, Sr., Deaconess Maria Sampson, Casundra Winslett, Willie Winslett, Jr., Rodney Addison, Yulonda Miller, Bridgett Moore and Robbie Burnett; grandson-in-law, Ronildo (Ron) Escarmant; six great-grandchildren, Jasmine Williams, Shanee Sampson, Leonard Sampson, Jr., Morgan Baker, Jr., Theo Escarmant and Douglas Jones; one great-great grandchild, Jamarion Williams, a devoted ex-son-in-law, Clarence (Lorraine) Miller; a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins all whom loved her dearly. To mention, two very close and honored friends, Deacon Charles Williams and Sister Regina Bullock. Minister Snell chose to be the guardian for her son Billy, both of Auburn, N.Y.  Jackie Gaines of Atlanta, Ga., this young lady was adopted by Mother Snell and the entire family. She was her nurse that took care of her, and managed everything from keeping appointments, grocery shopping and paying bills for Mother Snell. Out of everything that has been said and done, we the family pray that you and you realize that she was a KING’S CHILD.
