Louis Wright Hagood
For I am already on the point of being sacrificed; the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.                                                                             2 Timothy 4: 6-8

Christian Experience: Brother Louis Wright Hagood was baptized with the Holy Spirit during his early years at St. Matthews Methodist Church in Allendale, South Carolina. He later moved to Brooksville, Florida and joined Allen Temple African American Episcopal Church where he faithfully served as a dedicated member until God called him home.
Louis will greatly missed by those who he leaves behind to cherish his memories. A loving and devoted wife for 45 years, Nora Hagood; three sons: Benjamin Smalls Sr.(Jackie) of Spring Hill, FL and Leon Cole(Lois) of Newark, NJ and Louis Hagood Jr.(Deceased); two daughters: Delores Williams of Brooksville, FL and Audrey Redmond(Michael) of Atlanta GA; four brothers: William Badger(Phyllis) and Lucius Badger(Geraldine) all of Brooksville, FL, Robert Lee Badger(Ethel) of Mt. Dora, FL, and Norman Roberts(Karen) of Tampa, FL; five sisters: Reatha Maner of Estill, SC, Willie Mae Smith, Annie Mae Goodson, and Karla Stewart(David) all of Brooksville, FL and Bertha Ralph(Johnny) of Miami, FL; one aunt: Eloise Wright of Brooksville, FL; seven grandchildren: Brian Hagood, Ashley Williams, Benjamin Smalls Jr., Jasmine Smalls, Tiffany Owens, Jamal Redmon, and Janard Redmon; five great-grand children: Brian Hagood Jr., Ja’Mia Owens, Joe Brown III, Elliana Brown, and Joenesha Brown; five brother-in-laws: Jimmy Cole(Shirley), Benny Cole(Lorraine), and Jerry Cole all of Columbia, SC, Willie James Cole(Yvette) of New York, NY, Kenneth Strong Sr. of Estill, SC and Frank Cole of Brooksville, FL; five sister-in-laws: Beulah DeVoe and Anna Washington of Philadelphia, PA, Alberta Dowling of Brooklyn, NY, Geraldine Cole and Mittie Mae James(Abraham) of Estill, SC; two Godchildren: Stanley Stephens and Homer Lawson Jr.; God sister and brother: Minnie Stephens and Eugene Redding Jr.(Deceased); special friends: Bill Smith, Henry Roberts, Charlie(Deloris) Strong and Harry Washington Sr., a devoted physician: Dr. Akel; devoted caretaker: Pasco Hernando Hospice of Brooksville;  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many sorrowing friends.
