Obituary for LaTana Ann Williams
The Life Testimony Of…
LaTana Ann Williams

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free, I’m following the path God has laid you see. I took His hand when I heard him call, On January 26, 2016, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close of day.
My life testimony began on March 14, 1986 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I was born to the late Debra Williams and the late Gary Roll. Having a loving and close family, my mother decided to move to be with my wonderful late grandmother Amanda Williams in Brooksville, FL, who had already moved most of our extended family from Chicago, IL.
My love of life and family included lots of things, but most of all babysitting my Ja’Len and Jamer White who I treated as if they where my own.  I was blessed by so many, I guess that’s why I smiled so much ! My praises and good deeds will be forever in your memories. My love for you will rise as the sun does each morning. My hugs will remain as the gentle winds blow. Just know I am free from pain and sickness. I am dancing in Heaven with my mother Debra and grandma Amanda, we are having a Holy Ghost ball! And yes, for those who knew me well, I am doing my praise dance to “Break Every Chain”, because I know all chains have been broken, I am now at peace. My soul was saved, what  a difference that made. God was so happy I was able to join Him! Thank you Pastor Yvonne Woods (Ma) and my church family at Greater Love Outreach Ministries.
To my loving and devoted family, I cherish you so much. I pray you find Jesus and join me one day! But until then my fond memories, I pray you will cherish… leaving you was the hardest thing I ever had to do. My sister and caretaker, Shawanda Smith and husband Robert Charles; Aunts, Katherine Williams, Paula Williams and Pamela Welch all of Chicago, IL, Janice Williams, Barbara Williams and Marcia Williams of Spring Hill, FL; Uncle, James Williams of Spring Hill, FL; Nephews, Pierre Williams and Robert Smith; Fiancé, Frank Davis, Jr., my extended family of several devoted and loving cousins (too many to mention by name!) , my special household of friends at 720 Hazel and other loving family and friends. Remember, God is so good, His mercy is everlasting. Send His praises up and He will shower you with continued blessings!
If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee God wanted me now; He set me free.
