Leroy Milton, Sr.
Leroy “Roy” Milton was born in Madison, Florida on June 16, 1951 to Mary E. Smith and the late Thomas Milton, Jr. Leroy attended the Madison County School System and North Florida Junior College where he became a certified auto mechanic. He also served in the United States Army as a Military Police and received the following accolades: National Defense Service Medal, Sharp Shooter Rifleman (M-16) and was a Marksman (45 caliber pistol). After being honorably discharged from the military he became a truck driver until his health began to fail.
Late evening on March 18, 2017, Leroy departed this earthly realm in Brooksville, FL where he had made his home. Leroy was preceded in death by his sister Cheryl “Cherry” Williams. Leroy will be truly missed by all his family and friends.
Leroy leaves to cherish his memories mother, Mary E. Williams of Madison, FL; a loving and devoted companion, Roxie Williams; son Leroy Milton, Jr. (Shinara) of Tallahassee, FL; brothers, Ronnie and Robert Williams of Madison, FL and Johnnie Milton of Miami, FL; sisters, Beverly M. Moore and Glendale Cobb of Madison, FL; adopted sons and daughters, Kendra and Tamara Duncan of Brooksville, FL, Denita (Charles) of Lake City, FL, Willard (deceased), Kimberly, Marcus, Brandon all of Live Oak, FL and Kenyetta of Daytona Beach, FL; aunts, Careatha Willliams of Madison, FL, Beatrice Smith of Gainesville, FL; sister-in-law, Charleen Williams; a host of grandchildren, Great-grands, nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends such as the devoted Ken Ratts of Brooksville, FL.
