Demise:       January 13, 2012
 
Margaret Holmes was born in Hampton, South Carolina. She came to Brooksville, FL along with her parents in 1967. During the year of 1983, Margaret met and married her loving and very devoted husband Frederick Holmes. Later in life Margaret and Frederick began their Christian walk with God. Margaret was a devoted employee at Spring Hill Health and Rehabilitation for approximately fifteen years.
 
She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving and very devoted husband, Frederick Holmes; three daughters, Fredajah Holmes, Joni Richardson (Jacob) of Spring Hill, FL and Tanjanikka Holmes (Craig) of Dade City, FL; three sons, Brandon Maner (Ashley), Desmond Maner (Erika) of Spring Hill, FL and Andre Holmes of Dade City, FL; five loving sisters, Pauline Harris (Rick) of Spring Hill, FL, Shirley Owens of Brooksville, FL, Gloria Percy, Deloris Chest and Vivian Harris of Evanston, IL; four sisters preceded her in death, Mary L. Holts, Rose Nelson, Lilly Chest and Nattie Chest; seven brothers, Eugene Early (Francine) of Brooksville, FL, Elmore Maner (Hazel) of Birmingham, AL, Charles Maner of Brooksville, FL, Joseph Maner (Emma) of Dade City, FL, Arnold Chest, Cephas Maner of Sanford, FL and Lawrence Chest of Ohio; one aunt, Edna Jelks of Spring Hill, FL; eleven grandchildren, Christian, Isaiah, Noah, Ja’Darius, and De’Andre Maner; Jacoya and Jacob Richardson, Monnikqua and Jaizah Anderson, Craig and Canaan Moore; mother-in-law, Essie Mae Holmes of Spring Hill, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends; five special friends, Sharon Mobley of Clermont, FL, Terrell Pope, Mark and Loretta Drake of Brooksville, FL and Janice Hudson of Orlando, FL.
