Obituary for MARIE "Ms. China" FAGIN
Obituary
Marie Fagin
“May the work I’ve done speak for me. May the life I’ve lived speak for me. For when I stand before my God, I want to hear Him say “Well done” My good and faithful servant. Enter into your rest.”
To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord! We mourn not but celebrate with tears of joy the home going of Marie “Ms. China” Fagin on Sunday, June 21, 2009 9:17 a.m. Although she is no longer with us, her memory will “BE” Forever! She made an impact on all she came in contact with. She was awarded a key to the City of Brooksville by former councilman, Frankie Burnett.
Marie was born to Nathaniel and Mary Elizabeth Maner on March 17, 1922. She was a devoted wife and mother of three (2 sons, 1 daughter). She was also a faithful member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church until her health and sight began to deteriorate.
Marie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Nathaniel and Elizabeth Maner. Her husband and son, Galvin Fagin, Jr. and Galvin III. Brothers Elmore, Jonathan, Cephas and Frank Maner. Sisters Odel and Pauline.
