Mary E. Maner

Mary E. Maner was born on August 23, 1930 to the late Ed and Annie Early, in Hampton, South Carolina.
She came here in 1966 from Hampton, South Carolina. She joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and was an active member for over thirty-five years. She was also a mother of the church. She joined New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in 2007, and remained a member until her demise on December 27, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her five brothers, Edward Early, Amos Early, David Early, Henry L. Early, and William Early; two sisters, Virginia Williams and Joyce M. Harris; two daughters Mary L. Holts and Rose Nelson and one grandson, Joseph Nelson.

She was a hard worker and a good mother.

She leaves to cherish her memory six children, Eugene Early (Francina), Elmore Maner (Hazel), Charles L. Maner, Margaret L. Holmes (Frederick), Pauline Harris (Richard) and Joseph Maner (Virginia Larry); one sister, Edna Jelks;Â thirty-three grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren; a host of sorrowing cousins, nephews nieces, other relatives and friends.
