A Time To Be Born: Sister Mary Frances Nelson was born on May 28, 1942 in Brooksville, FL to the late Alexander and Frances Roach.
A Time To Live And Work: Sister Nelson was known for her dignity and integrity; a woman of success. She worked faithfully in her church until her health failed. She was a loving and beloved wife, devoted mother and mother-in-law. She was loved dearly by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.
A Time To Depart For Eternal Rest: Mary Frances Nelson departed this life on July 9, 2007 at OakHillHospital.
A Time To Mourn: Sister Mary Frances Nelson was a devoted wife, loving mother, and an extraordinary grandmother and great-grandmother. Her oldest son, Chester Ray Roach, preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Raphael Nelson, Sr. of Brooksville, FL; two sons, Raphael Nelson, Jr. (Wilma) of Anniston, AL and Lloyd Nelson (Leslie) of Largo, FL; four daughters, Margie Watkins (Tim) of Summerfield, FL, Frances V. Grimsley (Jimmy) of Crystal River, FL, Patricia Ann Maner (Garrett) of Ocala, FL and Valerie Williams (Arthell) of Brooksville, FL; daughter-in-law, Petra Roach (Chester) of Tampa, FL; goddaughter, Loretta Robinson (Dale) of Spring Hill, FL; sister, Gertrude Roach of Tampa, FL; brother, Calvin Roach, Williamson, NY. Brother-in-laws Nathaniel Nelson (Malvie) and Percival Nelson of Kingston, Jamaica; two aunts, Ludie Moore of Summerfield, FL and Lilac Roach of Dade City, FL; uncle, Oscar Hicks of Dade City, FL; She also leaves behind twenty grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren a host of cherished nieces, nephews and friends.
