Reflection of Life
Myrtle Denise Stephens Paige was born November 2, 1954 to Minnie B. Redding Stephens and the late Harold Stephens. She was the oldest of six (6) children born that union. Denise or “Neese” as she was affectionately known attended Hernando County Schools and graduated from Hernando High School, Class of 1974. She married Jessie Paige Jr. in July of 1976 and to that union two (2) children were born, one of which preceded her in death Joaquin Andre Stephens.
Neese was full of Life, Love, and Laughter. She said what she meant and meant what she said. Denise told it like it was and lived a carefree life. You were guaranteed joy in her presence. The fellowship in “The Country” will not be same without her. She will be truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Denise leaves to carry on her legacy of love and laughter her son Pierre Devon Paige. A devoted loving mother Minnie B. Redding Stephens. A caring and devoted sister, Harriet L. Willis; six (6) brothers, Harold G. Stephens, Clinton A. Stephens, Stanley L. Stephens Sr., Dwight P. (Latanya) Stephens, Charles Washington, and Eugene J. (Detrice) Redding Jr. ; two (2) sisters, Martha C. (Joseph) Maner and Gloria (Tony) Harris; two (2) grandchildren, Sukoria Terrell and Luke Hannah; three (3) Godsons, LaMel Frazier, Andretti (Andrea) Willis Sr. and Clinton Terrell; three (3) aunts, Iola W. Redding Bradwell, Anna Stephens, and Hattie J. Redding; God-Aunt Nora L. Hagood; God-sisters Delores H. Williams and Dr. Mae Lois Henton. Eleven (11) first cousins: Claudia (Troy) Griffin, Lavern Redding, Madlyn (Alfred) Holmes, Maxine O’Banner, Joyce (Daryl) Bailey, Antoinette (Victor) Jackson, Willie Redding, Michael (Nadine) Redding, Russell E. Bradwell Jr., Deborah (Charles) Martin and Tommy (Alphia) Hughes. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and many sorrowing friends.
