
Obituary for Naomi Elise Davison
Naomi Elise Davison was born in Franklin, Tennessee on June 3, 1932 to the late Everett Robinson, Sr. and Phoebe Robinson. While a little girl, her mother and father, along with her siblings Everett Robinson (brother/deceased), Seward McCrae Robinson (brother/deceased) and Rosa Kate Robinson (sister/deceased) moved to Brooksville, Florida. As the years went by, she met and married William Wright (deceased) and began a blessed life with a family of her own. To this union was born 3 sons and 3 daughters; Fredrick D. Williams (Verlene), Larry C. Robinson (Deloris), Carolyn Wright (deceased), Mary E. Elliott (Elbert/deceased), Willie L. Wright (Ruthie), Sylvia N. Williams (Jefrey). After the death of her beloved William Wright, she remarried to Wesley Davison (deceased).
Naomi attended and graduated Valedictorian of her class from Moton High School. Naomi attended New Jerusalem Church of God (Brooksville/Twin Lakes) were she served as a mother of the church and headed the kitchen duties of the church. She worked as a head cook for the Cottage Dinette and ended her career as a head cook for The Hernando County Head Start Program. She was faithful to her family, her church and her community. Always available to help those in need with food, shelter and transportation. Her motto: EVERYBODY NEEDS HELP SOMETIMES! So, she allowed the love of God in her to show love to those around her.
Naomi leaves to morn a host of grandchildren; Sonya Elliott, Karen Bell, Arnitra Robinson, Shaconna Wright, Casandra Wright, Elbert (EJ) Elliott Jr, Anthony (Leon) Williams, Tiffany Dukes, Toni Elliott, Christopher Wright, Lance Wright, Yolanda Smalls, Angelina Robinson, Billy (BJ) Dawkins III, Eric Williams, Michelle Elliott; great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, colleges and friends. Through her family and those who knew her, her legacy will live forever. She is and will always be missed, loved and never forgotten!
