Biographical Sketch
Quella Thomas
Quella was born July 27, 1939 to the late Adam and Quella Holmes in Uniontown, Alabama. During the course of her life she moved to Brooksville, Florida. She married Johnny Thomas on December 13, 1990.
She joined Holy Band D.T. Church under the leadership of Prophetess Stella Williams. She accepted Christ on October 15, 1998. She served faithfully on the Mothers Board.
She was called a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, Nannie Que, or simply “Que”, but God called her an angel. She quietly departed this life on August 18. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her only biological child, William Anderson, Jr.
She leaves to cherish great memories her husband Johnny; four grandchildren, William III of Hickory, N.C., Brandon of Webster, FL, Monique (Hiram) of St. Petersburg, FL, and Jeffrey of Woodbridge, VA; step-mother, Essie Mae Holmes of Brooksville, FL; three sisters, Bessie, Suzette (Ronnie) all of Brooksville, FL and Sandra of Lakeland, FL; three brothers, Alfred (Madalyn), Frederick (Margaret) and David all of Brooksville, FL; her five other children, Elizabeth (Frank), Arre of Woodbridge, VA, Bill (Sharon), Shawn of Brooksville, FL, Kevin of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Willie (Wendy) of Clermont, FL; daughter-in-law, Elaine of Webster, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
