Obituary

Sister
Rose Lee Ryan Hemphill

The voice of midnight came
She started up to hear
A mortal arrow pierced her frame
She fell but felt no pain
The pains of death are past
Labor and sorrow cease
And life’s long ware fare
Closed at last
Her soul found peace

Sister Rose Lee Ryans Hemphill was born November 26, 1916 to late Greenberry and the late Roxie Matt Ryans in the Lake Logan Community of Greensville, FL.

She was a faithful and devoted member of Bethlehem Progressive Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing, a devoted brother Prince Ryans of Greensville, FL; two adoring sisters, Sadic McCray and Pattie Moore both of Greensville, FL; she is also survived by nieces, Mrs. Virginia Simpson, Mrs. Martha Dardy, Mrs. Janie Lee (William) Jackson, Ms. Marie Simmons; one nephew, Mr. James Simmons, and a host of cousins and friends.
