Reverend Hopkins Life Journey began August 8, 1936 in Brooksville Fl to the late Andrew Hopkins Sr and Jennie V. (Mobley) Hopkins. He attended school in Hernando County Public School System. He was a dedicated member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (Floral City). He departed this earthly life peacefully on Sunday March 7, 2021. Reverend Hopkins was preceded in death by his wife Berdie Mae (Blake) Hopkins, One daughter; Sheryle Brown, One brother ; James Kincaid Sr, Seven Sisters; Jennie Edwards, Leola Kincaid, Irene Kincaid Bouie, Odis Kincaid, Bessie Hopkins White, Luann Hopkins and Aretha Hopkins Proctor.
Reverend Andrew Hopkins instilled in his family that the “I AM” was our Father (God) and a family that prays together stays together. Reverend Hopkins always had a word of wisdom for you and would get the bible to confirm what he is was saying was the word of God. His daily quote was: I will Never be broke, I will Never be sick and I will Have eternal life.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories a son, Gary Lee Hopkins (Dorothy), Brooksville Fl. Two daughters; Velvet Lou Owens, Rosa Bell Brown both of Brooksville Fl. Five sister n laws; Romie Lee Kincaid, Mammie Mcrae ( Wallace), Nellie Nathan, Shirley Blake, Brooksville Fl and Ivory Davis (John) St. Petersburg Fl.
Grandchildren: Jenna Scrivens, Tiffany Scrivens, Philip Hopkins, Deanna Brown, Lamark Hopkins ( Jill), Lakeata Lee, Porshe Johnson ( Brendon), George Hopkins, Myles Brown and Treasure Brown
Great Grandchildren: Talyria Preston, Reginald McFadden, Adrioun McFadden and Miricale Scrivens
Great Great Grandchildren: Kristin Lee, Desmond Flannagan and London Flannagan
And a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives
