Robert Lee Gaynor was born on September 16, 1936 in South Carolina, son of the late Elder Willie Lester Gaynor and wife, Mother Lille Mae Gaynor. Two proud parents.Â
Robert Gaynor loved basketball. He attended Moton Elementary and High School. Robert loved music, a great pianist, which he played in several churches in Brooksville, FL, Tampa, FL and surrounding cities. He and his family performed, the group was called the Gaynor Family Quartet, where he was the leader. He also played harp and string guitar. Robert traveled with his parents, sisters and brothers as a group and stirred the hearts of many people.
Later he married Mrs. Classie Mae Moore and later joined at Greater Friendship Baptist Church where he became a Deacon under his pastor Rev. Madison Murray. He became a soldier in the army of the Lord.
Robert is survived by his devoted Wife, Classie Mae Gaynor; Sons, Robert Gaynor, Jr. (India), Dawayne Roberts (Stephanie), Rowland Gaynor (Francina), Odell Douglas (Marcy), Gerald Gaynor (Cynthia), Lawrance Hamilton (Sharon) and Wallace Hall; Daughters, Melinda Guion Gaynor, Montique West Harris (Kelsey), Marilyn Jackson Gaynor, Margo Roberts and Amber Williams; Grandchildren, Tameka,  Vericona, Marquise, Rashunda, Benica, Jeremiah, Gerald Jr., Jeremy, Shalonda, Jerenda, Dominque, Delmar, Lewis, DaWanna, Torrion, Nakiah, Savannah, Janay, Alexis, Iralett, Shaunna, Stephanie, Desarae Jr., Ebony, Odell, Jr., Shaneka, Kelsey, Kelshonti and Chavis; Sisters, Lillian Gaynor and Mary Gaynor; Brother, Marcus Gaynor; Mother-in-law, Rosa Cady; Sister-in-law, Pat Gailey and a host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, cousins and friends.
