Church Affiliation: He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Allen Temple AME Church where he served in many capacities which included, President of the Lay Organization where he earned the nickname, Mr. Trustee. He was very dedicated and loved his church.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Louiza Graves; son, Robert Graves (Veronica); four daughters, Brenda Hicks (Marvin), Glenda Graves, Ronda Stephens (Daryl) and Linda Graves; one son preceded him in death, Willie Charles Graves, all of Brooksville, FL; eleven grandchildren, Kezia, Keiera, Markea, Quentin, Karin, DaRonda, Joselyn, Robert, Jr. Charles, Kaelyn and K’yonna; four great-great grandchildren, Khaden, Malik, Justin and Aubrey; two brothers, Samuel S. Graves of Detroit, MI and Joseph Graves of Montgomery, AL; sister, Clara M. Smith of Montgomery, AL; eleven sibling preceding him in death; one sister-in-law, Mary Elmore of Alabama; two brothers-in-law, Larry Farrell of Montgomery, AL and John Douglas Terry. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
