Ruben was born on April 7, 1940 to the late Adrian Mobley and Flossie Scrivens in Brooksville, FL.
Rueben worked as a supervisor of custodians for Hernando County School Board for over 37 years before retiring. He was also employed by Biggart Music for 15 years, Wilkes Oil for 5 years and the Ford Dealership for 10 years. He was a faithful member of Jesus Christ House of Prayer for 15 years under the leadership of the late pastor Lester Jones, where he received Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Eva Mobley; children, Danny Mobley (Linda) of Daytona Beach, FL, Darryl Mobley of Brooksville, FL, Dwayne Mobley (Cheri) of Spring Hill, FL, Jeffery Mobley, Eric Adams (Tiffany), Brian Williams all of Brooksville, FL and Audrey Williams of Orlando, FL; Godchildren, Chris of Brooksville, LaKair of Orlando; 19 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Louis “L.C.” Mobley, Sr. (Elaine) and Grant Gibbs; sisters, Edna Fribley, Annie Ruth Saxton and James Washington all of Brooksville, FL and Linda of Miami, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special sister-in-law, Sandra Monroe of Orlando, FL and other in laws.
