Sister Sarah L. Starks was born February 2, 1939 to the lateViola Allen and Will Downing. 
 
On this day, we celebrate the home going of Sister Sarah L. Starks who was called to her heavenly home on Monday April 6, 2009 at 10:00 P.M. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband Rev. James R. Starks; 3 daughters, Sarah Drake (Major, Jr.) of Brooksville, FL, Veanie Anderson (Samuel) of Windermere, FL and Pauline Ford (Goctrice) Brooksville, FL; one adopted daughter, Patrenia Harris, Brooksville, FL; 2 sons, Jessie J. Starks (deceased) and Arthur Starks of Titusville, FL; one brother-in-law, Jessie Starks (Eloise) deceased of Brundidge, AL; one sister-in-law, Aretha Starks ( Grover) deceased, of Brooksville, FL; 2 brothers, Willie McKay of Lakeland, FL and James Norton (Catherine) of St. Petersburg, FL; 4 sisters, Mary Norton of Brooksville, FL, Willie Jones of Brooksville, FL, Ollie Mae Zachary (James) of Troy, AL and Lillie Anderson Brundidge, AL; 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing relatives.
