Shannon M. Bain
Shannon Monique Bain, 26, of Spring Hill, was born October 6, 1987 in Detroit, Michigan to Bateman and Mary J. Bain.
Shannon was an active member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She dedicated her life to the Lord at a very early age under the pastorialship of the late Rev. Floyd Moore, Flowery Mount Missionary Church, Detroit, Michigan. She joined the choir at the tender age of 3. She was a very faithful and unhindered praise filled member at both of her church homes.
Shannon loved school and especially her teacher, Mrs. Mylre of Central High School where she graduated with honors. She was a beautiful soul. Her favorite song was “I Love You” from the television show Barney.
Her special interests include: Church, Barney and pre-recorded church services on dvd/vhs, gospel music, eating good food (especially fried chicken), ice cold drinks, but most importantly, family and friends.
She departed this life, Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 1:47 P.M.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, parents Bateman and Mary Bain; five sisters, Lisa White (James), Edith A. Murray (Damond), Artemisia Jones (Jerry), Cassandra Bain (John) and Sharnita Boykins; three brothers, Curtis Wright, Calvin Cooper and Robert Bain; brothers-in-love, David McNeal, Jason Murray and Stevin Boykins; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and friends.
