Obituary for Steven Craig Bradford, Sr

Steven Craig Bradford Sr. was born on July 2, 1956 in Johnson County Iowa to Frank H. Bradford Sr. and Geraldine G. Stubblefield, both deceased. He lived in Clinton Iowa, where his formal education began. In June 1966, his family relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where Steven at an early age dedicated his life to God and was baptized at Dauphin Street Baptist Church where he served on the Junior Usher Board, singing in the Caffee Memorial Youth Choir and was a faithful attendee of Sunday School. Steven completed his education graduating from Benjamin Franklin High School in 1974. He worked for the State of New Jersey before enlisting in the United States Army in 1977. He was stationed in numerous places in the United States and overseas before settling his family at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina serving with the infamous 82nd Airborne Division.

Following his discharge, Steven struggled to find his place traveling from Fayetteville to Philadelphia to Trenton, New Jersey to Cincinnatti, Ohio to Morrisville, Pennsylvania to Davenport, Iowa to Saint Cloud, Minnesota; before God gave him peace in Spring Hill, Florida where he immediately rededicated his life to God and became a member of Antioch Fellowship Baptist Church.
