Obituary for Tarasha Y Townsend
Life Reflections of
Tarasha Yata’ Wiggerton Townsend

Tarasha was born August 9, 1977 in Brooksville, FL  to Frankie Wiggerton and Renee Adebayo. She attended King High School and was later employed by Hill Rom Medical as a Biological Medical Technician, in  Hillsborough County. She also worked at Interconnect Technologies, Inc. in Spring Hill, FL. Tarasha was a strong believer in God and often read from a 16 year old pocket sized bible of which she cherished, and she will hold in her hands forever. Tarasha faithfully attended church at Grace World Outreach Ministries under the leadership of Pastor David Garcia. Tarasha loved to wine and dine with the finer things in life and it showed through her children. Tarasha loved her kids unconditionally as well as her nieces, nephews and family.
Filled with compassion and interest in others, Tarasha made friends easily and maintained contact with many. She possessed a giving spirit and donated to charity often. Tarasha rarely complained and always put the best on the outside with a smile on her face. Tarasha would want us to love as she loved. God in His infinite wisdom saw fit to remove her from our midst on Friday, August 29, 2014. She was lovingly escorted into Heaven by her late Great-grandmother Christine Scrivens and Grandmother Maggie Wiggerton.
She leaves to cherish her memories, five daughters, LaSillar Townsend, Navie Townsend, Logan Townsend, Taragee Mason and Georgiana Mason; one special step-daughter, Lo’Deja Townsend all of Brooksville, FL; husband, Lorenzo Townsend of Brooksville, FL; mother, Renee Adebayo of Tampa, FL; father, Frankie Wiggerton (Julia) of Leesburg, FL; grandmother, Ann Covington of Brooksville, FL; three sisters, Porsche Thompson of Tampa, FL, Blake Thompson of Atlanta, GA and Tameka Taylor of Georgia; three brothers, Robert Wiggerton of Orlando, FL, Marcus Wiggerton (Angelina) of Glendale, AZ and Orion Wiggerton of Zephyrhills, FL; four step-sisters, Corina Adebayo, Tina Adebayo, Kathy Johnson and Erica Turner (George); three step-brothers, Kenny Adebayo, Pratt Coleman (Vonnell) and Mike Franks; four aunts, Debra Ocbazion of Brooksville, FL, Wanda Thompson of Charlotte, NC, Lay’wan Gamble of Upper Marlboro, MD and Marva “Cookie” Hopps of New Jersey; two uncles, Emanuel Gamble (Pam) of Valrico, FL, Larry Wiggerton (Roz) of St. Petersburg, FL; God-mother, Mrs. James of Tampa, FL; a special cousin, who was like another mother, auntie, big sister and confidant, Nicole “Niki” Roundtree; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends; three special friends, Dominique “Muff” Floyd, Shakita “KiKi” Napier and Tammy Davis.
