Tony Lavon Warthen was born July 24, 1979 to Michael Warthen and the late Carolyn Harriett Grant. Growing up in Webster, FL he attended the local and public schools.
Tony met and married Monica Sheri Warthen on February 12, 2010, and to this union three children where born.
Tony loved his wife and family. He was employed by DAB Construction and was self motivated as an entrepreneur.
He was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Harriett Grant, grandmother, Hattie P. Graham and mother-in-law Patricia Ann Burnett.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife of seven years, Monica Sheri Warthen; father, Michael Lavon Lazenby; step-mother Sharon Warthen; children, Tony Warthen, Jr., Ja’Vaughn Dorsey, Molaija Taylor, T’Niya Warthen, Ta’Rohn Warthen and Ta’Umani Warthen; siblings, Michael Lazenby, Jr. , Brandon Warthen, Kayla Warthen, Stephon Warthen, Cordell Warthen, Nivea Key, Gary Key, Jacob Warthen, Hannah Warthen, Brittany Grant, Alvin Grant and Clyde Williams (Angelica); grandparents, Richard Smith (Ethel), Johnny Warthen, Sr., George Outlaw and Rosie Mae Warthen; sisters-in-law, Elsie Burnett and LaKesha Soloman; brothers-in law, Jerimy Burnett and Lennis Neal; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, great-niece and friends. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Flowers may be delivered to the funeral home starting at 9am, Friday, July 14, 2017.
