Sis. Vera Elizabeth Bryant

Vera Elizabeth Bryant was born on May 7, 1909 to the late Turner and Victoria Williams. She attended the schools of Hernando County and was  a member of Bethlehem Progressive Baptist Church. She was employed at Lykes Memorial Hospital where she was a Private Duty Nurse and volunteered as a Candy Striper. She was also affiliated with the following organazations: Eastern Star, Lily White, Choir  #1, Pastoral Inspirational Committee, Deaconess Board, Sunday School BTU Teacher and Carrier for the Tampa Tribune. She departed this life on January 23, 2009 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.

Sister Bryant was preceded in death by her husband, the late Robert Bryant and daughter Edith.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Alice Lee Vickers, husband, Rev. Boston Vickers (deceased); grandchildren, Boston, Jr., James W., Ulysees (Louise), Andrew Lee, Jayna, Melerneese Tallington (Sam), Leroy, Bertha, Barbara (Ocie Edwards, Jr. - deceased), Jerry (Victoria), John (Gwen), Aaron, Jennifer, John Marshall and Conrad Davis. A host of great grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
